By breeding a chocolate and a yellow lab do you know of any problem eye problems that will develop. I have heard that it is not good to breed a chocolate and yellow. If you could send a message back to my email I would appreciated it. cmallery@nbnet.nb.ca thank you

As the same eye problems affect both colours and for that matter the black also the answer is no. But that is not the reason why it's not a good idea to breed these two colours. the reason is in the colours themselves. They do not give good coat colour and worst still to me, they loose skin pigmentation, red around the eyes and poorly coloured noses. So No, it's not a good idea to breed these two colours.
