I know this might be an impossible question to answer, but i have a six month old dobe dog called diesel, and wondered what hight he should be, he is at the moment standing 24inches in height is this tall,average. cheers

Don't you have a book about the breed? Most people make a point of having on for referance purposes while the dog is growing up. Such a book will have all the relevant info on size, growth rates, feeding, temperament etc etc. I suggest you get hold of one. Amazon are excellent, i buy most of my books on there on the special offers i.e 3 books at a special cut price.

The Breed Standard say's that the ideal hieght for a dog is 27 inches at the withers and 25 and half inches for a bitch. Thats Adult Dogs.
