hi my 10 month staff is just coming out of season, she is my first bitch so its all a bit new to me.
when will it be ok for her to be around over dogs reason because its her ringcraft class tonight and shes already missed 4 weeks.
today's the 17th day.
Any help is apprecaited

Don't go!! The 17th day isn't safe - I've had litters from 19th-day matings. Wait till at least day 21 then give her a good bath and wash her bedding too, because that will be holding her "in season" scent. You should (but no promises) be safe to take her to the class after that.

I leave until at least day 21, often day 25 with my bitches then a thorough bath before they resume their social life.

Hi,

I have 2 staffies and one girl and one boy I keep mine apart for a minimum of 28days just in case they say 21 day but my breeder and my vet feel that this may not be long enough with some dogs.
