Please can somebody help so I get my mother and all my rellies off my back !

I am trying to send some thank you letters with some photos we have taken with our digi camera, a Fuji S305 Finepix.

All the photos are coming out with a definate red tinge and have gone thro all the trouble shooters and can't seem to correct it. We got the latest driver downloaded a few days ago from the web site so it is the latest one.

Anybody got any other suggestions as need to get these letters off soon otherwise my family and relatives will never speak to me again ! ( Well that might not be so bad :D)

Thanks

Lucy

ps using proper photo paper as well !

How about the ink in the printer? You should be able to print off a test page to see whther ALL the inks are full and if the settings are right too

It is an almost brand new printer so we haven't used it much but not attached to this laptop, usually with the PC upstairs. We did a test page and all seems fine, I have also cleaned the nozzles.

You may need to clean the print heads, my epson did something similar a while ago and i used programme on the software disc to clean the print heads.

hi Lucy
I wouldn't expect much help from lexmark they're crap!!just got a combined lexmark printer, scanner , photocopier last week and the instructions were sequenced wrong.i set everything up as per the instructions and nothing was happening so my mate who's brill on pc's came round and said the final two stages of the instructions had been printed the wrong way round.i emailed lexmark over a week ago and have had no response as yet.good luck:)

I have mailed them and also have looked on their technical support and it might as well be in Japanese:)

Oh well I shall never have a relative talk to me again :) They don't nayway so it will not be a great loss ! I shall have to resort to the pen and paper method :(

Clean the printheads several times as sometimes they dry up if not used for a while

could be that one of the cartridges is empty but is not being recognised as such by the printer

have you thought that it might not actually be the printer and may infact be the camera instead ??

have you tried printing them out with another printer ?

dont know if it makes much difference but try using a photo ink cartridges, weve always found the photos to be of better quality, also when you see the phots on the screen do they have a red tinge if so it could be the setting of your digicam, we also find that if you use the digicam inside with the lights on the pictures tend to look like sepia pictures with a red tinge

this happened to me recently,it was my properties that needed altering when copying to photo paper etc,all my pictures were pure red,i had to alter the ink to photo enhance and it has made a big difference

I am getting naffed off now. I have tried three times to download the driver and each time my dial up has kicked me out :(

It takes 2 and a half hours to do it cause I haven't got broadband :(

Is there anybody that has BB that can download the driver and mail it to me pretty please ?????
