Can any of you out there please put me on the right track...we have a 10 month old Goldie, (Dad is a working golden) he loves to retreive and have him coming back to the whistle 9times out of 10.Where do we start to give him some proper gun dog training, join a club, any videos best to buy, I have been told that goldies take a little longer as they are a bit more sensitive that other breeds, also they are air scent and not ground scent.also is he too young yet?

There are several 'goldie' clubs and there are general retriever clubs such as the United Retriever Club. Whereabouts are you situated?
