I am in Essex and have 3 pups due out in late December. Only the dog puppy was due to be shown but the 2 girls are showing such promise that I thought it would be nice to take them to a few Open Shows and see how they go. The problem is, 3 puppies and only 2 handlers. If there is anyone in the Billericay area who would be interested in handling Danes then please email me.

Not sure that we can help with the handling, Ann, but we're in Essex too, and probably doing the same round of shows. As we're in the Pastoral group, times should clash, so if necessary, could always help with "holding" one, whilst you handle the other!

Thanks Margot, I only ended up keeping three because the brindle girl was so sweet (hence her name Sweetie) and as I had no suitable homes for her (I was very strict when vetting callers for the puppies) and I got too attached to her.

I know exactly where you're coming from - we were only going to keep one girl from our litter.... but there was just "something" about Beau... so we kept him too :D

It's hard work but we enjoy it!!
