Sorry about this, proud mummy syndrome! As some of you may know I have two 10 wk old Staff babies that we kept from my bitches litter and I am just so proud of their achievements at fitting in as part of our family.

They are crated at night and for the past few nights have not messed at all in their crate and hung on all night and waited to be let out in the morning...running straight into the garden for wees and poos - what good little boys!

They've even started taking themselves outside now all by themselves during the day to go to the loo - how brill is that!

They both know their names and come when called (ok, so it's only in the garden and the house, but it's a good start!) and understand when they have to go and settle down and stop tearing around like loonatics.

They have however wrecked two of my houseplants and destroyed a candle, but hey, they're only babies!

They have both worn collars and coped fine with that but totally freaked when I tried the leads on them, but that's just practice and perseverence (sp?) with that one.

I'm so proud of my boys...sorry to rattle on!

Understand where you are coming from totally Juliet :)
I am still madly in love with Gus ( my pride and joy) and he is nearly one now ( well he's one on Monday) . How fast has that time gone ??? :D

Oh how I tempted fate by posting this message...just finished posting it when I turned round and Marmaduke (the black and white boy) kindly produced a huge puddle next to me...bless him! I think he was trying to prove a point! That'll teach me!

Hi Lel, yes Buster was 1 on 1st October and have been doing a lot of reminiscing the last few weeks of how quickly this year has gone, he came to us on 14th November. He's really beginning to fill out and look like a Staff if you know what I mean, and I think we all love him more each day [apart from his Kevin days but now I know what it is, I can deal with it!], I wish we'd made more of the time he was a puppy because being my first dog, I think concentrated so much on getting it right from an early stage, that I sometimes didn't have as much fun with him as I could have, although we obviously have a different kind of fun now!
