We are going away at the end of this week and have been let down by the people who were going to look after our Boxer (not their fault). I have no choice but to put him in kennels but dont know where to turn to.
He spent 2 weeks in a large local kennnels in the summer & hated it. Came home skinny with terrible anxiety problems and would not be left alone even within the house.
I think he was scared of the other dogs and it was just too big and noisy. The kennels said he would not venture out of his bed for the first week and would not let anyone near him.
He is a 12mth old castrated Boxer male, spoilt rotten and used to be in a family environment with two young kids. He just loves company and having good exercise and playtime, I know a lot to ask.
If anyone has any recommendations of any kennels either MK area of Bucks or even Northants, I would be really grateful. I just dont have the time now to visit all the kennels and need to go on someones recommendation.
