I have been adding 2 teaspoons of ACV in with my dogs water daily,i have heard that this helps with hot spots, does anyone else feed ACV to their dogs, what amounts do you use?what are the reasons you use it?Does it have any other value besides helping with hot spots?
thanks

What are hot spots??
Val xxxx
Hi Christine, yes I use it sometimes :) It aids digestion & the uptake of other vits from foods. It does something else but I can`t remember right now & don`t want to give you the wrong info. I use the organic one & put a couple tsp in a very large drinking bowl.

I used ACV when I started the dog I rehomed off on BARF to help digest bones; he does not need it now and my bitch never needed it.l

Hi, I used it for my hayfever this year. The unpasturised variety has the most health benefits.
Wow thanks for the link Kath,my dogs definately do not have hot spots, those pics were shocking, one of my dogs chews her paws and inner thighs,i was worried that it might turn into hot spots but it has dramatically reuced since i've been adding ACV to her water, she rarely itches now:)
