Just read an ad on ad mart it has rare blue staffie pups for sale for £1000! Is it just me or is this a lot? i saw some advertised for £650 once i thought that was a lot

They should be the same price as any other from the litter . Although rarer than say black or brindle they are not THAT rare :rolleyes:
Besides they still have to have good lines and be a good looking healthy pup even if they are blue . Plus there are different blue pigments . You can get a poor pale blue with light eyes ( not desired in a show Staffy)or a deeper blue which is more desired .
You really would have to be gullible to pay that much !!!!! :(

When I was looking for a red staff recently we considered a blue one but was advised to pay no more than any other colour, we were advised that a blue is a through back of brindle (how true this is I am not sure) the person who gave me very good information runs a staffy club up north so she should her stuff.

I also queried a blue when I was looking around for Gus .
We were told by one breeder that they are throwbacks and if she had any in the litter she would "cull" it .

Which seems strange as blues are recognised by the Kennel Club and there are some around on the show circuit now .

That is a hell of alot for a staffie puppy, even a Blue one. The usually go for around 450-500. i paid 450 for a fawn and white one, Blues possibly slightly pricier. But some class a Blue as just a washed out Black i.e a kind of mistake, i however think there beautiful.
