I have an (approx) 10 week old jack russell puppy who i wormed with panacur paste on the 20th to the 22nd of september, she is now producing weird alien poos that are either entirely or mainly mucus or covered in a strange raw chicken like substance (it's really strong and stretchy, i've poked it with a stick !) what does this mean ? has she got worms ? can i worm her again ? is she breeding aliens ? help help ! quickly please !

ps i called the vets and they just said to starve her for 12-24 hours then put her on bland food, i tried this but we still have the odd poo

Just a thought, have you given her rawhide chews as one of mine had poo like this when she had too much rawhide for her. Also what are you feeding her on and have you changed her food in any way or has she had anything different?

yes she has been eating rawhide chews, I didn't think they'd do much as she doesn't seem to have made much of a dent on them, but it could be that. she's not changed food so it can't be that. I'd much rather it was to do with rawhide chews than all the horrible diseases i've been inventing in my mind all night ! thanks ! :)

Vomit from rawhide chews looks quite alien too although is hard when poked with a stick!!! My money is on rawhide!!
