If the breeder got your application from the breed club, the procedure
should be that he/she will approve of what you put on your form and then 'phone to see if you are still interested, and if so have a chat. If the breeder still thinks you will make a good owner you will be asked to come and see mum and the puppies. This still does not mean that you will get a puppy, as the breeder will still want to "check you out" face to face. Normally puppies will be 3 weeks old or above before "open to visitors". It is not a race - first come first served should not come into it. The breeder should be looking for the best homes, and if the first families contacted are not fully approved, Judy will be asked for details of more people on the waiting list.
