OK, I've decided to get my 18mth old bitch spayed due to her seasons interfering with competitions.
I wasn't going to spay her because I thought you couldn't show spayed bitches, but from reading cd I appear to be wrong. Some of the posts I've been reading have mentioned a letter to the KC. What sort of letter is this and what needs to be put in it?
I won't be able to spay her until the earliest at the end of November. She had her last season in September. What time should I be looking at for spaying her? She's still completely out of coat, will this stop her coat from growing back and if not, will it alter her coat texture?
Sorry for the many questions!

A letter from your vet stating they spayed her & the form here from the KC. If you are not able to cownload & print the form just send a lietter in with the same infomation. I know it doesn't mention a vet's letter but it does speed things up a lot

It shouldn't stop her coat growing back never did my bearded collie & she only ever cast her undercoat afterwards
