We lost our 12 year old black Labrador bitch, Jessie in November. Life is not the same, we miss the companionship & the love she gave us & our children. We have decided that we can never replace her but would love the chance to bring up another lovely pup. We are looking for a black bitch with an excellent temperament, & would be looking to have her a easter. If anyone can help, please contact me.

I can' help you with a puppy, but you have my sincere sympathy at losing your old lab. When we lost our old lab I really missed him so much, but like you, I knew I could never replace him. We decided to get a bitch so it would be a 'different' black lab! I have to say she has fulfilled all our expectations, and is now coming up for 4 years old, and we now have her daughter as we bred last year. I still think of our old lab a lot, and the nice thing is that when we bred, we used a dog with the same lines as our original lab, so I feel we now have the best of both. Once you get a new puppy, you'll never look back, and yes you will still think of Jessie, with fondness and great affection, as you watch your new puppy become part of the family.
