Hi. Thinking of changing my two male GSD's to Autarky. They are quite lively dogs and wondered if anybody could give me any advice. Can anyone tell me the protien levels.

I use Autarky.Ifind my dogs have plenty of energy without being hyper.I like its lack of additive and high meat content aswell as the herbs that it contains.
Can't remember the protein content off hand since I don't keep it in a bag but I think its about 21%- not too high.

It's well worth a try and if you need a higher protein level they recommend using the puppy version. I do this during the winter when my dogs work and need a bit more. It's a good food and had done wonders for my dogs. I do have the sack but it's raining and I have wimped out of going down garden to look!

Hi, I think the protein level is either 26,27 or 28% My dogs love it, and their coats look brilliant aswell :)

The protein level is not that high i wouldn't use it if it was Puppy is the highest 26% Summer is 22% Autumn is 18%

Actually the puppy is 28% Protein 17% fat. Also it is 45% Chicken. Very few foods, no matter the protein level have that proportion of meat protein. The one I found that had a high level of meat in the recipe was Arden Grange.

The adult has 28% chicken, compared to some Super Premium Brands that have 22% meat, evgen though they are h9igh protein.

Most adult dog foods have around 15% meat protein in the formula.
