Hiya, just a quick posting to let you all know D-Day is tomorrow!!!
We should be back on our way home with Diesel tomorrow evening around 9pm :)
I've been on a high for the whole day, giggling and yapping ;) no change there then :D

Well I am exited for you! Let us know when you get him, and how he is. I get my rescue doggy tomorrow and I cant wait!!!!!! :D

He's packed his kong, and his lead, and I've given him enough Burns to make the journey....

We have loads of kongs and leads here but if he wants to bring his own so he can have something familiar with him so he doesn't get homesick then i don't mind ! ;)

Is he hitching ?

He wants me to drop him off :Rolleyes:. I told him to drive down in Zacks dumper truck, but he's having none of it. He keeps mumbling about being a "TV star"

Tell him he will be treated like a superstar here ! He will even have a star with his name on it over his kennel lit up with lots of twinkly lights ! ! :D

But where will his quilt go? And his diamante bowls with ruby encrusted W's at the bottom? :D :D

He likes the twinkly lights idea though!

His quilt will go the same way my lovely new pair of shoes went this week, down MB's throat ! :D

well sharon will be on her way home now with DIESEL :) bet she is so excited, i have been to and i've never met her, weird really how pple on here affect you i guess she wont be getting much sleep tonight either or ballie too. i'm jealous cos i want a puppy <whispering> :D

i do love my pup but i can't wait for her to mature a bit it is exciting when you get a new puppy but they are also a pita for a while and bloody hard work!!

Thanks so much for all the nice postings :)
Well he is soo gorgeous, even more than I expected :D We didn't get home until 3am this morning, he was as good as gold and slept most of the way, stopped twice and let him out for toilet, and he was so clever :)
Came home, let him explore a little, popped him into his crate with his nice warm vet bed, and a few toys .... and he was having none of it I tried to persevere, but hate to admit that I gave in to him, and I ended up sleeping on the floor beside him, and he went out like a light :D Although he had been a little subdued earlier today, which is only to be expected, but he's barking (if you can call it a bark!) and playing with his toys now, and more importantly, Baillie seems to quite like having him around........so far ;)
I'm going to be firmer tonight and try and keep him in his crate, it won't obviously be so late, so he can cry a little, I have popped him into it a couple of times today, and after about 10 minutes he did settle - so fingers crossed :)

Hi Guys, Last night was much better :) He went off to sleep in his crate at 10pm and didn't utter a single squeak :D Woke at 2.30am, went out for the toilet, went back to sleep and up at 6am :) He's been much more confident today, less timid and he's chasing everyone's shoes and laces.
He's really gorgeous, I can't stop looking at him :) Off for his first vaccinations tomorrow and guess what he's up to now.......sleeping :)
