What breed are they?
You should contact their breeders for advice on breeding if you have never done it before.
But do ask yourself why are you breeding these dogs?
Are you breeding for a showing reason or are you breeding just for money?
There is a lot to breeding, are the two dogs old enough and mature enough?
Do they have good temprements?
After the stud dog has played his part, the bitch will be your main concern, feeding her for example , has she been wormed?
taking her to the vet for check ups on her health.
Have the dogs had the appropriate tests ? ie heart testing , hip scoring etc?
then comes the birth.
Do you know the signs to look for if the bitch gets in trouble and need the vet?
Have you a whelping box ( which is probaly the safest option for bitch and pups).
Do you have new owners for the pups or are you going to be left with lots of pups at home.
The list is endless.
Please buy some books, talk to proper breeders before you deceide to breed your dogs.
It could be very costly if your bitch gets in trouble with her pregnancy or birth.
Please research a bit more before you final decision as most people that breed just for the sake of it , their pups end up in dog shelters.
Just make sure that you have the time , patience and funding before you start.
Please don't be offended by this but there is a lot to know before you undertake such a big responsibilty.

Hope you do the right thing and please enjoy your dogs.

Hi Guest!
I'm no breeding expert, but there is a website that could possibly answer some of your questions. At the top of this page is a search option. If you click it and enter sierra in the poster input box you will get lots of her posts. Click on her name. Her profile will come up and you will see her home page. Click on it and you will be whisked away to a site devoted to breeding! :)
