Topic Dog Boards / General / BEST OES D.I.Y CLIPPERS??
- By Diesel [gb] Date 09.10.03 14:44 UTC
I am on my second daft [$ funny Old English Sheepdog now and have always trimmed them myself – a product of growing up in the Welsh countryside where there are definitely NO Poodle parlours ])

However I so struggled doing him with my Wahl Animal clippers this summer – it was cutting so badly, clogging (even on the coarse blade) and got so hot that it eventually ended up hitting the wall!

Does anyone have any recommendation for a product – maybe even a cordless one?

Thanks & thanks from my wall too!

Hi,

We have beardies and keep them clipped to look like lurchers (because we work them and don't show them it doesn't matter) and I use Oster clippers. They were quite expensive, but are excellant and the blades are so easy to change, but they are quite heavy.
