Hi
He sounds like he is going through the teenage years and is a typical Lab !
Won't come when called, also known as selective deafness !! :)
At home try calling then rewarding with a small treat when he comes ! He will get the hang of it and then wean him off the treats once he has got the idea ! Outside perhaps try this again or even try a whistle as I successfully used this with one of my stubborn girls ! She is now A1 at recall !
Won't stop jumping. When he does it turn straight round with your back to him and stand still and stay until he gets down and stays then turn round and fuss him.You are rewarding him for being down ! If you make a fuss by telling him off when he is jumping, up he thinks it is a game and will continue ! ! Persevere as it sometimes take a while !
Lead walking. Which lead are you using at the moment as this maybe your problem ! There are many good types of leads of which harnesses and headcollars are examples of
I use sometimes again on my stubborn girl a harness and found it useful but we are now back using a rope lead and training to walk to the heel has happened ! Again it took its time and alot of stopping and starting but they soon get the idea that pulling will get them nowhere apart from stationary !!
Just a few pointers which have worked for me and I am sure there will be more advice from people !
He is still a baby and will quickly get the hang of it !
HTH
