Bulldog for me --- the clowns of the dog world !!!! :)

for me it has to be an akita-inu,mine is only just over 5 months now but i wouldn't be without her for the world,they are such a graceful and elegant breed.

At the risk of offending someone in particular (guess who?), I'd have to go for a portuguese water dog!
Nothing against the spanish though, I like the portuguese for all the benefits the spanish wd has, intelligence, trainability, friendliness, and they're the perfect size for me! I want a dog I can do agility with, and flyball and a bit of obedience (Jack of all trades, master of none!) but a family pet first and foremost.
The only thing that makes me opt for the portuguese over the spanish is that I prefer the wavier coat!

Please don't hate me! I'm sure your spanish water dogs are absolutely gorgeous and if I met one I would be swayed in that direction!

I cd. never hate anyone who loves their dogs as much as I do mine, and does as many activities as I do with mine:d I'll stick with my miniature Portugese Water Dogs though, with a curlier coat (SWD's are the best:d :d).

has to be the Springer for me. Can't beat that furiously wagging tail when it's caught a scent. Labradors a very close second.

For me its the golden lab...all blond and daft.(It's like looking in a mirror!) I love the way they look at you when you chat to them from under their eyebrows with each eyebrow going up and down in turn. You just know they're considering their viewpoint.:D

for me its our black lab first then our goldie and third our soon to be english springer spaniel.......i just love them all...xx
