Hi,I am very interested in adopting two Huskies and starting to work them.I have researched the breed and know of there good points and bad points..I wondered if anybody knows any "Mushers" who live around the Blackburn area in Lancashire who would be prepared to take me under there wing and advise me on training etc of the dogs and of the sport in general. Also can anybody recommend any books on training working Huskies..Does anybody know of any reputable breeders who may have pups available now or in the future..I have found lots of sites on the net but i have not found any mushers who live locally(i once read an article quite along time ago about a lady who works her huskies in Darwen, which is quite close to me)can anybody help me please??Thankyou for your time..

Join the Siberian Husky Club of UK ..their website is HERE You can get to read all about the local meets and be put in touch with local people who work their dogs. There are links there for Rigs , snub lines and harnesses too ;)
