I have a 3 month old Staffordshire bull terrier who has developed a clicking noise in her back legs? It only seems to click when she is walking along and seems to be coming from the lower part of her leg, not her hips? It really doesnt seem to bother her but im worried it could get more serious? any advice please.

Hi

If you are concerned then your vet is the best person to contact about something like this - it might be something as simple as her toenails clicking on something or something more serious.

Hi i have a 3 year old staffie he has had problems with his knees and a ruptured cucite. He had a clicking noise in his knee because it was popping in and out of the groove where the knee cap should sit. I would take her to the vets so they can have a look at her you never know it may be nothing good luck.

I have tried to find out where its coming from and it seems to be her ankles. I have been told by a few people that it happens in most large dogs? something to do with as she grows the tendens are stretching around her legs which causes a clicking noise? Im not so sure so i will ask my vet better to be safe rather than sorry thanks for all your help!

Think in my breed case its more to do with growth plates and very slow maturity. certainly i do not worry about it anymore!
