Okay then guys, we have now chosen our new GSP male puppy who will be joining our family within the next month.
I need some feedback with a choice of 2 names, we wanted to call him Del, but the breeder for his records has called him Ellis.
Now we are torn as we like both names. So lets have a vote and see if we can decide what to call the little chap when he arrives. :) :)

I like Ellis too - Good luck with your little pup :-)
Ellis is a great name. Hope to hear more about him soon. :)

If it's any help, a name with two syllables is easier to call!

Hi, i personally would prefer Del to Ellis as i think Ellis is more of a girls name, but..............obviously up to you.My sister had a german shorthaired pointer male several years ago,he was liver with white speckledy area around his shoulders and he was called bruce, not very original i know, but a lovely dog all the same.

Thanks for all your replys, still can't decide. Hubby wants Del, or actually full name Del Boy, and I want Ellis. Will have to keep you posted. If it helps in anyway, he will be solid liver in colour. Bronwyn, who I will add, is one on Saturday 11th Oct, is liver & white ticked, but we had chosen her name long before we got her.
Thanks again.
Juliet :)

Ellis gets my vote. Practice calling both loudly in the garden and you will see why it's better! Good luck.
