Before we bought our baby i used to think i was Imelda Marcus, but now i look more like a tramp. If i have'nt thrown shoes away the ones i have got have teeth marks in.
My baby is hardly ever on her own, and if she is it's only for half and hour or so and has loads of toys, kongs etc. So i was wondering is it true that because they miss you they will find something of yours with your smell on as a sort of comforter?

I think there probably is some sort of truth in that. However i shoes seem to be a favourite for chewing, prehaps it is all the strong smells! Apparently dog that rip up things when they are on their own are doing so to surround themselves with familiar smells to comfort them. Not sure how true that is but seems fair enough to me. I learnt with my first dog so when we got the puppy i put all my shoes in a big drawer!

Yeh I put all my shoes away as well.....usually after they`ve got teeth marks on them!! :) :) Kepp asking shoe shops when they going to start selling just one shoe for people with odd shoe sizes/dog eaten shoes etc but shop assistants look at me bit oddly for some reason........I`m a size 4 by the way, what size are you? Maybe we could match up some odd shoes????? :) :) :)

I can guarantee that whatever i have been holding eg:t.v. remote, book etc and i then leave the room, when i come back my lovely Lollie will be walking around with it in her mouth. I'm sure it is the smell thing and we have had a few disasters when i have been out of the room for a long time. The T.V people love me.

Hey Christine i'm a size 4 too !!!
My dog sleeps with me in bed and i hate it when she's touching me but everytime i move up so does she till i'm practically on the end of the bed lol.
Also very strange is we can both be on the settee and when i get up to make a drink or whatever she will wake up and move onto the side i was on?

Dogs!! Worse than children!!
