For some reason Darcy has suddenly started eating grass, when we go for a walk she's like a grazing cow, constantly having a munch on any grass we come near!!
Even to the extent where she'll ignore her ball cos she's too busy munching!!
Anyone got any ideas as to why she might be doing this
Cheers

My dalmatian eats crass but its nothing to worry about as it aids digestion it just like us eating a rennie for indegestion some times they eat it because they want to be sick but they just sick up yellow bile which is just like an acid they need to get rid of.

;)
What are you feeding Darcy on? Personally, I have always felt that too much eating of grass could be an indication that she is missing out on something?

I feed her on Burns Chicken & Rice!! I thought that would give her everything she needs.
Will maybe get her checked out just incase.
Blimey the vets are going to have field day with charging me the amount of times I'm taking ehr in!!

My dogs regularly graze more or less depending on the time of year and the tastiness of the grass/crops etc.
Morse grazes on bushes, grass, nettles etc and I think its an exploration thing with him. He can be called away to play so it dosent bother me..

Oscar does it too but sometimes it looks like he is just licking the dew off because he is thirsty.
