Also how can you Gaurantee a pure pedigree from a home???
Also you say you will get one within a year.....What if I dont want to wait upto a year for a puppy...
I was falsely told I was able to register my Lab when I got her home but later found out I couldnt.....havent been able to get hold of the breeder so looks like I lost out.
And to the person who said that most people on here would have had their dogs KC registered.....well what you trying to say??
I have a pedegree and cant do anything about it do you mean that I shouldnt visit the site because I have an unregistered Pup?????
I didnt know any better when purchasing the Pup but I know I love her to bits and she is a Pedigree but not registered is this really as criminal as some are making out!!

MARTGTI-6, I agree, my previous post echoes what you are saying. As far as I am concerned having a registered dog allows me to breed and/or show, nothing else. As I plan to do neither, I'm not too bothered.
I don't think the previous posts meant to imply you couldn't visit this site, but I do think more thought could have gone into their comments. Good luck with the puppy training, we pick ours up in 3 weeks!

Thanx for the Kind advice and support BigD :)
JeanGenie I had a jack russel bitch for 10 years called Bella she was a fantastic dog I hope my lab is as wonderful as she was!!
Thanx for the replys

Hi Martin,
Many years ago we bought an unregistered (unregisterable too!) black lab bitch - and she was a total delight and was never ill until her last few weeks at the age of 13. So it's perfectly possible to get a smashing pet like this. I sincerely hope your lab gives you as much joy as Bella gave us!

BigD,
Yip did understand that fully that it was the co owners that had fallen out.. it was just a thought really my comments as you can register a puppy up until it is 12 months for £12 that is the breeder I mean. After 12 months it is £60.. plus the £10 to change ownership of the dog..
You may never need to but it is something you could always keep a mental note of..
Shame really. I hope they get good homes for them all.

Thanks for that, it is worth knowing for the future. Whilst we have no plans to breed, you never know! (the dog that is, not the missus!) :o
