Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / 'over sexed male'?

Has anyone out there heard of or tried any herbal remedies for male dogs which show too much attention to other dogs, mounting behaviour, be it male or female. He 's not fussed.

We do train a lot as he is a working dog so hope to 'train' it out of him. Don't really want to try the injection from the vets for fear of side effects and really don't want him to have surgery. Don't get me wrong, he is not consistently like it, I just wonder if there maybe a homeopathic solution to take the edge of the behaviour at certain times.

Any help appreciated

Go to Canine Natural Cures on the net they have something called male orioplat which may help.

How old is this dog? Male dogs like male humans try it on during their teenage years. But do learn the more discrete approach works best as they mature.

Thanks for the suggestion, have emailed the site to find out more.

He is coming up for 4yrs. Could be a little dominance as well so hope to be able to address the problem with training.
