hi, can anyone tell me, is it ok to feed my ten week old Airedale Terrier cows milk on her morning ready brek. I have been using lactol.

My breeder recommended semi skimmed milk when Gus was tiny and I'm sure others have recommended Goats milk ??

I always have when pups were young, but by 10 weeks I would have thought the time about right to give up the cereal. The milk I gave was always full-cream because cows' milk is much less rich than bitches'.
:)

They say that cows milk is difficult for dogs to digest and that unpasturised goats milk is best. I have alway used unpasturised goats milk for my pups and mom prior to and after whelping. I always give a quarter to half a pint a day with their readybrek to the pup or pups that I keep up until they are about 4 months. The adult get 1/5 pint once a week as a treat and in substitution of a meal.
