Our Westie is nearly 19weeks old. How many meals should he be having per day? I know Westies are fussy eaters, but lately he has become worse. He won't finish any of his meals and the only time he does is if we give him tuna.

We have put him on Wagg complete dry food as it was recommended as being v.good so we'll see what he's like on that but can anybody please tell us what your dog's feeding outine is? This is our first dog.

Has anyone got any feeding tips?

Also where can you get kongs from-looked around without luck any info about kongs would be great

Hope you can help!

>>I know Westies are fussy eaters<< Not at all..

I have 4 , not a fussy one amoungst them. fussy eaters are generally caused by "US" changing their foods. Allowing fussiness They do not need changes unless the food is not agreeing with them or they are not growing correctly ..

The reason he won't eat his food without the tuna is because you put it on his food in the first place. Westies are not fussy just smart.

I will take steak anytime over mince....

stick to one food whatever it is , be firm and take the bowl away he will soon eat it... they won't starve themselves they are far smarter than that..

Hi Laura,

Although she is not fussy, I now feed my Cairn Naturediet. It is a moist food that comes in a rigid plastic pack. She absolutely loves it. You can buy it at Pets at Home.

You can also buy Kongs at Pets at Home and many pet supply web sites.
