Hi! I am looking for some advice/background really, I know that some of the top breeders are involved in this site. I've just seen a litter of BHs advertised on our message board at work. I am very interested in getting a BH puppy but would like a bit of expert knowledge before I continue. These puppies are in Dumfries and the advert says "All KC registered. Excellent Pedigree including 4 Champions. Great Grandsire Breed Record Holder" but they are only asking £400 each. I've been checking out other puppy prices and the common one is £550. Could this indicate anything and would anyone have any personal knowledge of the breeder? I won't post the name her but will email it to anyone who could help.

Claire, If I was you I would contact Sandra Johnston of Burnvale Bassets she is one the top breeder in Scotland her e mail address is burnvale.bassets1@ntlworld you will find she is very helpful and will probably know of this breeder, 4 champions in a 5 generation pedigree is not that good. get some advice from sandra.
