Let me explain my situation here. I currently live in Boynton Beach Florida, and I am pending to purchase a doberman puppy from England, because I prefer the type and temperment.
Now the puppy I'm looking for can be either red and tan or black and tan, clearly defined rust markings in the correct places. It must be a male. Must have been checked for all health concerns. Docked and dewclawed for show exhibition. (don't worry, I prefer natural ears)
He should be able to work aswell and have the necessary drives to do so. Before you judge me I have already spoken to Ray Carlisle of Cara dobermans and have the right criteria to be a fine doberman owner. I'll be visiting England like, next year perhaps, looking for a doberman puppy. My price range is around £300-£550. £600 will even do. If you have any quetions, please e-mail at 'Cresent Lupine@aol.com'.

Thank you for your time.

Hi, I am not to well up on 'Dobies', but I was under the impression that 'Tail-docking' was banned in England on ALL breeds? Also I am not sure what the law is regarding docking of dogs for export? Can anyone enlighten me on this matter?

Tails can still be docked but by Vets only.

£300 is puppy farmer/desperate to be rid of puppy range!

£600 is nearer the mark for a well planned, bred and socialised pup. + of course the costs of running a puppy on till it is old enough to go to the US, rabies jabs, innoculations etc which can add to the price.

The puppy can only really have its eye and vWD status confirmed, hips cannot be done in this country till 12 months and the US till 24 months. Thyroid problems unlikely to show up in a pup.

You are unlikely to get far showing an uncropped pup in the US - I believe the last one was "Jack" and English export belonging to Nancy ******* - she would probably be a good person to get in touch with and if you don't have her email address then Ray Carlise will be able to point you in her direction.
