Gus has had dermatitis recently and had antibiotic and anti inflammatory jabs and we were told to bathe the paw in salt water

he has prescribed an anti fungal wash to be used twice a week, this problem has been going on for two years now and it was only diagnosed yesterday. At first the vets thought it was something in the paw then it was an infection then it was all in his head it was only looking through champ dogs i found a post about excessive licking of paws.
This particular dog belongs to my mother in law and i told her to suggest dermititis to the vet.

For the last two years this poor dog could hardly walk and when he did go out he would only walk on grass with a boot on!

she has also bathed it in salt water every night and often walks him in the sea i was wondering of any other tips that will keep him happy

Hi Joze
hope M-I-L s dog is ok .
I am not too sure that Gus did have dermatitis . I am thinking more that due to excessive licking ( due to cut/graze/etc) he has caused the redness/itchiness himself purely through licking . He seems to have stopped for now - so fingers crossed it has cleared
