I have a 3 year old staffy,he's doing quite well at shows, but for one thing,he stands perfectly the judge can go over him no problem. Then the judge says"now move your dog" My boy then puts his head down, his bum up and he's gone.I take him to ringcraft every week he's fine. But you enter s a showring and he turns into another dog.Its really embarrasing and frustrating because Iknow if he would walk properly he would do so much better at shows.Somebody,Anybody please help!!!

Have you tried keeping a treat in your hand so that he maintains a focus on that and therefore the speed you are moving at? I found that helps with mine when they're keen to get out of the ring;)

Try 'proof' training him at ringcraft class. One of the gripes I have about many classes is that they don't set up reality ring situations and therefore the dogs are these little angels at class where they are comfortable and know the place. Next time you go to ringcraft class, take some nice smelly treats (use bits of cooked liver or pieces of salamie or cheese -- the more scent the better). Before you do your gaiting, have someone drop bits around the ring. As you dog goes to drop his head and sniff or grab, give a command (I use 'leave it') and a quick upward jerk on the leash. He'll soon get the idea that it doesn't matter what nice tidbits is on the ring or what interesting smells from other dogs.... he has a job to do.
