Can anyone suggest the best site/place to buy a fabric dog cage? I bought a metal cage from e-bay which is great for champ shows ie for leaving the dogs, but just a bit heavy to carry on my own.

Pets at Home have Dogbags at a considerably cheaper price than the web-site. Cathy./
Marlin do a great range, from tiny to very, very large, and seem OK for price, plus they are very easy to erect, not like the ones you have to insert poles etc into. Richard seems to have his stand at most Ch shows _ I know they will be at Driffield as I have just orderd 2 of the new small size. bye Gwen
I agree with Gwen, I have a petmate fabric crate fom Marlin and its great. Light, easy to put up, you can lock it by the zips, fasten it down on a bench, and nobody can push anything into your dog, food or otherwise! Dawn.

dawn, are you sure you can fasten them down on the benches-i have visions of them bouncing off the end--what do you do about water, at the minute i hook a bowl on the metal cage, how do you manage with canvas cages.
Hi Dizzy. At each corner the Marlin ones have a D shape part which are for attaching the tie down pegs. You can also thread a chain through and padlock it to the bench. As for water, I don't leave mine with water, they aren't left for that long anyway and with their beards they would get soaked, especially mine who thinks water is for playing in! I tend to offer them a drink when I am about, I can't see how you can attach one to the crate. Dawn.
