When you say red do you mean a apricot poodle coz red poodles dont exist.

Oh yes they do, Bullboy!!
Look
here and read the section on colour.

I;ve never ever heard of a red before interesting. Also pleased to see re. pigment and eye colour, as when I mentioned that Apricot's etc. could have liver pigmentation and hazel eyes a top breeder told me what a load of rubbish, how come it's in the standard then? Is it because more and more are born with a dark eye and black pigmentation these days?

Well parden me for breathing, i didnt know you could get poodles in red so dont be so rude in future, jeangenie.

I was no more rude to you than you were to the original poster. If you didn't know you could get red poodles, why were you so emphatic you couldn't?

I wasnt being rude to the original poster, if i sounded rude im sorry, it wasnt intended. The reason i was so sure you didnt get red poodles was because in all my dog books and all the shows ive bin to ive never seen a red poodle. Apolagies for being snappy. Again not intended.

No offence taken.
:)
Edit: I confess I hadn't heard of them either, which is why I looked at the Standard before replying. ;) :)
