Hi all.
We are getting a bitch wheaten puppy!!! really stuck on names. We have looked at all the wabsites on name,s but they seem to have thousands0 just in alphabetical order, and dont seem very interesting.
I would be very thankful if you could give me some names for female pups- thankyou!!!!

When you look at her a name reflecting her personality and looks will suggest itself but heres a few to reject later! Kenzie, Kiri, Kira, Kiara, Skye, Tara, Bramble, Pip, Jess, Misty, Dara, Elle, Amber, Jade, Sam, Gypsy, Cher, Karma ( asking for trouble) and Willow. All in use near us.

My friend has a wheaten called biscuit, my girls are willow and gizmo, I wanted to call willow buffy but my husband said no. I have heard it is a good idea to pick a 2 syllabull (SP?) name because it is more dog friendly, you can change the pitch to make it more attractive.
My boy is called Bilbo, and if he was a girl it was going to be Arwen, names from Lord of the Rings.
Quite often a name will not seem right until you get your baby, we had a pup who was called winston, but ended up being called guppy for some reason - it suited him.

really, it is down to personality! i know all wheatens are fun loving etc, but they all are a bit different- ask the breeder- they will have a good idea of what your pups personality is- since thay spend lots of time with them!

Thanks Christine:d as I said in the post she does suit it as she is very affectionate, but there again so are most Pdeagua's!!!

Took Anton, named after Antonio to water training yesterday and he was a star!!! He didn't just bring the boat to shore but decided that it had to be pulled onto the shore and didn't give up until it was on the shore. He's only 6 months and I was soooo proud of him. Unfortunately, I think I may have to shave half an inch of his legs if he decides to grow any more though.

How's your family's dog doing?

When we got the cat I knew he was a 'Charlie' the minute I picked him up, but wasn't so sure with our Westie. The breeder named her Daisy which I quite like but my friends cat is called that. One of the pups had been named 'Xena' by the breeders children as she nearly died during birth. So they called her Xena Warrior Princess. The new owner kept the name and we quite liked it ourselves. The other bitch was called Millie and the dog was called Dave! We went for Molly in the end.

The other girls at Molly's class are 2x Poppy, Pippa, Lottie. But there's one called Bronte and one called Rocha which are both boys but great names for either.
