Hi

I have a Siberian Husky and am looking for ways to exercise him properly and safely on the lead. I have heard about special attachments that you can get for your bike. Has anybody tried these before and if so, are they safe? I would be interested in getting one, but can't seem to find anywhere in the UK that sells them. I have also heard that you can get waist harnesses that allow you to walk your dog hands free. This would be ideal for me to exercise my dog in a field or on the beach safely. Does anybody know where I can purchase these? I would be grateful if anybody could help me out.

Culpeppers do the waist harnesses and also the front springers ...and Springer UK would also be worth a look

Join the Siberian Club of UK for help and assistance :) You need to be very careful when using the springer and NOT use it on roads , just waste lands and country side not used for cars

How do you know where to get the waist harnesses eh Mel ;)

I use the waist harness for one of my Mals and it's a godsend :) You can get side springers or front springers. The side ones are good for general training and the front springers are the best if you're planning on working the dog as it teaches them to pull out front.

hi,
i have sibes and use both a springer and a walky belt to exercise mine, when not running them in harness using the rig, they are very useful! i got my springer from springer uk and my walky belt from jan at chillidog. have a look at snopeak for events coming up that are near to you. some organisations are allowing one dog events with
scooters if you dont yet have a rig. one organistion is SDAS
have fun! if you want any more info, please feel free to e mail me,
kelly
