Welcome to CD's newbie's (funny how when someone new comes along, it makes you not feel like the newbie anymore). I hope you are ready to face a serious addiction :D as once you join CD's, it really is impossible to leave ;) Get ready for your washing to pile up, the dishes get left in the sink (or dishwasher), the huge piles of ironging you will have and you totally miss out on T.V. :D :D Can you handle it??? I talk from experience, as I'm totally hooked :( :D
I have a partner, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. 1 Jack Russel (14 month)who really is fab, and a Basset (11 weeks)who truly is a typical Basset <<siigh> lol
Hope you enjoy the site as much as I do. :)

Welcome to all you new people!!

My names Diane and I am owned by 5 Perros de Agua Espanoles (Spanish Water Dogs). As you can tell my Spanish isn't very good. I'm single and I spend most nights being at home with my dogs or going to training classes. We do obedience, ringcraft, heelwork to music and water training. As you can tell, I'm still single, don't have enough time to find a man:d
- By chaliepud [gb] Date 17.09.03 05:42 UTC
Welcome! I have one other half (not better!), 2 small children (Boy and Girl), 2 Crossbreeds that I do obedience and agility with, 1 cat (that I don't) and we are praying for an Australian Cattle Dog puppy to be with us before new year!

Hello I just registered too. I only found this site tonight and it looks great. I have a 4 month GSD/Greenland dog x bitch called Belle, only had her since last week she is great she looks like a Greenland dog with a GSD head. I also have 3 cats, Salem, Bracket and Tea Tree, 2 tarantulas; Fluffy and Baby, one scorpion-Drider, one Cali Kingsnake-Ronnie and a Pictus gecko-jasper2. Oh yeah and two daughters aged 4 years and 9 months respectively and a husband who is definately the hardest to look after. I used to be a veterinary nurse for 10 years but now owm a curtain shop so I can take kids and dog to work with me.
Looking forward to lots of chats with you all, especially if anyone can tell me about Greenland dogs as there is not much info I got Belle sort of by accident was looking for a GSD but ended up going to see a Husky x GSD expecting to see a SibyxGSD but was actually a Greenland dog!!!

Freddie I'm impressed yes she does have aunt lucy as a GG grandparent on dads side. They are wonderful fun dogs but i keep that a secret incase they become so popular & it spoils the breed. There must be some pretty mean bum wagging in the morning at your house there certainly is here with just my one .I've tried to copy but i just cant get the rhythm. All the best for the little ones first show .Whats the name i'll look out for her in the show results.

It's good to see all you new people on here. I hope you all have fun both with your dogs and on here. Let's face it, that’s why we have dogs and why we post. There is a wealth of knowledge available on here and the people are only too pleased to help. Of course there are the occasional cross word, when people are passionate about a thing this is going to happen but believe me, they are a wonderful lot, every one of them!

Best wishes, John
