Sorry to hear about your problem. As you will have discovered, DLC registration is meaningless, and you may well have problems contacting the breeder for any other papers.
:(

Is there any chance the kennel dogs 4 us will have the breeders name? Is there anyway which I could find this out thankyou

Does it not say on what little paperwork you've got? KC registration has breeder's name and address, name and reg numbers of sire and dam etc etc, so all are traceable. There's no harm in asking at the shop, but how efficient they are at record-keeping I have no idea. Sorry.

These places buy in bulk from a number of outlets they go and collect once/twice a week from the dealers all pups are put together all paper work if any is all put to gether so no one knows who bred what it's pot luck.

I went to have a nosey there once and they were selling the dogs for the same price, if not more than reputable breeders do with KC reg's. Good luck on getting KC papers, you may find that you don't rec. them. Some of them weren't the best looking examples either.

The sad sad thing about places like these are people (no disrepect to anyone at all) who know very little about where to find a good breeder, see a large outlet/kennels and think big is safe and buy.

But sadly in the case of dogs breeders I think "big is not usually good" most people if we are honest buy a pup as a family pet but loads of dealers/shops buy in pups and you have no idea how they've been brought/dragged up.

Sad but very true.

I have just been to have a look at the website and have to say am not impressed by what i saw and read. The only trouble is whilst people keep on buying from places like that they will stay in business, Are these the same people that advertise on the adtrader board on aol. And also must say that looking at their boarding kennels i wouldn't put a pet hamster there to stay. Why can't the relevant governing bodies shut these B!!!!y places down or regulate them a lot more extensively. And have inspectors checking them out at very regular times
