Ive bought a pug pup from local kennel!!! Didnt know you had to go to a breeder. My father had a pug which his friend used to breed, i also had one from the rescue. I didnt know you had to buy direct from a dealer Ive paid 745.00 and I dont have pedegree history there is no doubt he is a pedegree little bit 'fed up' Ive been took for a ride , by not having his kc

You don't buy from a dealer, you buy from the puppy's breeder, so that you get to meet the mum and see the rest of the litter in their home. Without KC registration you have no guarantee of your pup's parentage, I'm afraid.

The only thing you can do now is to love the puppy, and learn from your experience. It is always best to do your research before you do something, but you know that now.

Unfortunately you have paid top price for a pup that you can’t show or breed, well you could breed but I hope you would not even think of it. Dogs without a Kennel Club registration may as well be crossbreeds, however good they actually are.

Sorry to hear the situation you find yourself in, lets hope it is a warning to others. It is always better to wait for a puppy than buy the first that you hear about, check everything first, then buy.
