Can anyone help, I'm looking to buy a SBT collar and lead.
I have got a collar that I got given but I would like a matching pair really, plus it won't be long before Toesy grow's out of his collar.
I'd planned to buy one at the Darlington show, but couldn't find any.
So could anyone give me any info on where to buy, I would like one in time for Toesy's first show on the 28th.

Not sure were you live but have you tried the staffordshire bull terrier shop at Darleston on 0121 556 5528
they are very reasonable and better quality than the shops, you can buy over the phone and pay by credit card.

Thanks for that, but I'm in the north east, Darlington. I've never heard of Darleston, where is it.
The only thing about ordering over the phone is you don't see what your buying, There is quite a few different ones and I wouldn't know which I wanted without seeing them first.
Do you know if they have a catalogue or a web page

I don't have a cataloge but if you phone them they will send you a price list and glossy sheet throught he post of all the leads, collars harness's etc that they make by hand very good quality they do different designs and colour of the designs on the collars I have one black with gold design of staff knot etc, one of chrome and one of gold/chrome which is very nice. I have bought staffs collars from pets shops that have been about £50.00 and not as nice or as good quality found shop by mistake when my husband was working in the area a stuck in a traffic jam outside, not only do they make collars but they advertise litters and dogs for stud from all over the midlands.

You won't get better quality or better value for money that the Darleston as Nicki said they are really good. He doesn't advertise because he doesn't need to word of mouth. All collars hand stitched and you can have various designs on the collar but really good value. He makes the leads and collars in the shop you can see him doing it. He does harness as well.

No I'm not related but have got collars from him for about 18 years now. Due to go over weekend after next to get a new collar and lead for Sal (adult size, as she's 10 months old now)

You can specify dog or bitch collars, and the colour but as your Staff is red black would be nice. Also the width he does a perfect sized show size collar with matching lead.

I can personally say from experience wouldn't buy a Stafford collar or lead from anywhere else.

I'm going to give them a ring and ask them to send me a catalogue.
I'll only need a lead if I can get one the same as the collar I've already got, if not I'll get both as I'd like a matching pair. Any Idea of the price.

Hi Mitch, from memory about £30 for a matching lead and collar. But I could be wrong I know they close on Wednesdays.

if you pop onto Staffords.Co.Uk you will see two links on the right hand side of the site for A and E Collars and also hide and Collar .
Hide and Collar usually go along to the shows too an have some lovely sets . you are talking about £40 for a nice collar and lead set :)
They do a choice of colours - black , blue , green , red , brown leather etc and a choice of styles - also brass or silver . they even let you design your own ( within reason)
