Hi sams, most bullbreeds get these cysts just wash them in HYDROGEN PEROXIDE SOLUTION (9%) fill cup with half water and put four table spoons in and mix then wash dogs feet dont dry them just let it sink inn( do this every day) i also use corn flour to dust the feet.

Hi Sams
I don't think your vet has been very helpful if he hasn't given you a list of possible causes of the sores. There could be several reasons why.
It may be an allergic reaction to something he is standing on and powdered carpet cleaners/fresheners are a common cause of irritated feet. If it is caused by the food he is eating you could try putting him on a hypoallergenic diet to see if that makes a difference. Feeding him a bland diet for a few days of just rice or boiled chicken and rice (without the milk) may just make enough of a difference to see whether a hypoallergenic diet would be better for him - You must stop him licking otherwise you may not be able to tell if there is any improvement. Someone has mentioned cysts, it could be exzema or it could even be a secondary reaction to something more serious.
Something like Fuciderm cream will help treat the symptoms but you really need to find the cause and it's important to stop him licking. Put cotton socks on him, dog boots or an Elizabethan collar to keep him off them if he's making them worse.
Good luck it's not an easy problem to get to the bottom of.
