Don't know which country you are posting from but if it is the UK there are some in this country, but not may, what sort of information are you after. You will find the breed interim standard in the Kennel Club Breeds Standards, unfortunately it is not on their web site yet.

Try here http://www.palis.fsnet.co.uk/

Dont bother with this breed, they suffer many problems, the big one being hip problems. If you want a big powerful dog then look no further than the americanbulldog.

sams you cant say that, if a person wants to know some thing about a certain breed then i think it should be left to the people that have owned and bred them for a few years to give the good and the bad information.

I have owned 2 bordeaux's, they both came from top pedegre parents and both parents were hipscored and came out good for male and very good for bitch, however both suffered from hip problems towards there latter years and people i know who own these dogs also have had many problems with there hips.

Tim, they are good dogs, they are easy to train and dont requier massive amounts of walking although becareful they dont start piling the weight on.Make sure that both parents have been hip scored and dna checked would also be reasuring.Dont be put of by there size, most people think they are clummsey but they aint.I found mine to be great with kids and other dogs as long as they are brought up around other dogs.
P.S dont think cus of there size they eat loads, they eat no more than your average medium breed although during first 12 months they will eat alot as they are growing.

I have 2 Dogue de Bordeaux that are large sweet and kind and eager to please I would trust one of this breed rather that a Yorkshire Terrier or a Jack Russell, I waited 5 years befor I bought mine and did a lot of homework and seminars and attended every Bordeaux Club event even when there was 2 clubs. I could not have a aggressive or dog with bad temprement as I have 1 5 year old grandaughter that lives with me and 2 that live nextdoor. As with any large breed you have to be vigillant and use common sence when they are with children they have a lot of power and can cause a lot of damage, but neither of mine have shown not one ounce of agression, even bowing down to the yorkshire Terrier that lives with them.If you want more information and to join the The Dogue de Bordeaux Club contact John Woods, Rivercroft,419 North Brink Wisbech CAMB PE13 4UN tel 01945 466121. As with any breed there are good and bad, they are not an easy breed but if you have the dedication and the right surroundings. do plenty of looking round all good breeders will let you come and look at there dogs and The british douges that are shown on the continent are winning well, They do have health problems, a lot of breeders do checks for these before breeding check, eye's hearts, thyriod and hips and elbows, but these are checks that have to be done in a lot of other breeds. Do not know why they should need DNA checking.but I know there are Bordeaux people on this site with more experience than me so they my come along later and let us know

Just curious on why you would suggest the American Bulldog?
