I have recently started bidding on online auctions. They are great fun so long as you set a ceiling price and stick to it. I bought a compact dish washer from Comet auctions for £106 instead of the normal £199. I think you take a chance and have to be carefull to read the descriptions but it really is fun.
I checked out EBay last night and the amount of dog related items for sale is great. Just missed out on a whippet bronze as I couldnt get registered quick enough.I think Im hooked. Jan

I have had some lovely doggy stuff from ebay but Im annoyed at the moment as Ive had an email telling me i havent paid for something I keep emailing back but can t get any further with it.
I also collect dogs books on any breed at all I have nearly 200 books now and like to look on there for them as well.My most expensive buy was a german wirehaired Pointer figure I got very carried away but its lovely so worth it,Ive neen only disappointed with one thing thats all.

Mattie,

I am the same, I sold something and paid the fee right away and I keep getting a pop up to " Please pay" when I got into the records it shows the payment and the balance at nil.. who knows, maybe they are having trouble right now..

Hi...

Have used ebay to buy all kinds of things, in the UK and even from the US and have no complaints.

Bought my cage on thre, brand new and excellent and a third of the price I would have paid!

Found it's worth being patient... set your price and don't go higher... item comes up again, or one similar. Find some companies use it to increase sales/awarenesds/end of lines etc. Always worth checking the company out to see if it has a web page... don't want to bid more than they are selling it for on their own web site eh ;).

I buy a lot of Disney stuff there... especially Pluto ;D

Regards Dave

Bought some Butterfly plant off there today one is a rare colour that I could not get any where else

My friends call me the "e bay Queen" ;-) the only thing I buy at the shops is household now!! I get clothes, shoes, nikes, lawn mower, dog equipment, musics and CD's, PS games, books,.........on e bay auctions. If I dont but it on e bay the chances are I will buy it elsewhere on line - wormers, additives, bedding, food.......I could go on!! I am waiting for a new printer to arrive - cant wait. Its a brand new cheapy Canon (£30) and the ink cartrdiges are under £2 each. Its cheaper to buy a new printer than keep my Lexmark fed.

Ebay is far too addictive. I recently spotted a very rare Bullmastiff book for sale but bidding had finished before I had a chance to register. This book usually goes for about £150 and the winning bidder got it for about £5!! I was so gutted!! Went on about it for days!

addictive is not the word.
when i come on line i
cheek my emails = 30 mins

then its time for bed

i also hide what i buy off there, but i always get court when the postman knocks the door LOL, but then it to late

I confess my non children/non puppy time is spent on ebay and champdogs of course. However i'm very restrained as i only sell to earn a few quid for all the animals and kids in my life!!!!
Theres so much dog/pet related stuff on ebay at fab prices.I make ratty hammocks very cute if i say so myself!!!
Word of warning to new ebayers please read sellers feedback before you bid.

Yes i'm an ebay addict too, although have only bought from there, haven't figured out how to sell stuff yet! My sister and I bought a massaging chair from the German version of Ebay, even with the shipping cost it was still quite a bit cheaper than over here.

Hi Cheryl,
I buy and sell on ebay too!! I'm very interested in your ratty hammocks, do you do them big enough for ferrets? I think my boys would love a couple!!:D

My buys on e-bay just seen to get bigger and bigger after a conservatory on there at the moment, but have had to become a closet e-bayer or my husband will change the password so I cannot bid, everytime I hear foot steps on the stairs I have to click back to champdog. have you see the property for sale section there was one for 3/4 of a million, what a way to buy a home.

Well thats a few more Christmas presents courtesy of Ebay taken care off. This is much more fun than the prospect of crowded shops.
