Hiya,
one of my dogs has a sore on his bottom,we keep cleaning the area and we will be taking him to the vets monday,is sudocrem safe to use in the meantime?

I would get her/him to a vet asap. This sounds like it could be an infected anal gland, or even anal furunculsis. If it is either I hope it is the first, as the lattter can be very serious, and can rarely be cured, but can be treated and managed if dealt with early.

No sudocrem is not alright. It is a barrier cream and will trap any bacteria behind it. Your best bet is to get your dog to a vet and get a proper diagnosis. Better to be safe than sorry.

What breed is he? Some breeds are prone to a nasty condition called Anal Funuculosis :(
