Any info or experience of this disease in a bitch?
My Springer bitch recently lost her pups and following a discharge on the due date my Vet has now suggested that she has endometriosis and has referred her to a specilaist for further tests.
We would like to breed from her again but don't know what damage this may cause to her chances.
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter
how old is your bitch as the risk of endometriosis increases with age . I have heard it can lead to pyomentra .
I would not risk my bitches health - at the end of the day do you really hAVE to breed from her ?
Good luck and hope she recovers :)

Hi Lel,
She is 2.5 years old and the problem started with a urine infection at an early stage of her pregnancy. We will take advice on what is best to do and will not breed from her if there will be any danger to her health.
Thanks for your good wishes
Peter
