Hi my name is Joe from Chester in England.
My question is do you get many solid black, slightly speckled German short haired pointers?

Not my breed but I believe that solid black is non standard, so I guess there will not be many as breeders would do their best to avoid breeding them.

The breed standard allows solid liver, liver and white spotted and ticked, liver and white ticked, solid black or black and white same variations, not tri colour. They can be found in the UK and some breeders have a preference for this colour but not as widely as the liver/white combinations.

Just shows you should have looked it up rather than rely on what you have been told, in which case I don't think there are that many about.

There are several breeders who favour the black and white or solid black dogs. Take a look at our
breed list. There is at least one breeder there that breeds black and whites.
