Hi
Sorry can't say I've heard of any type of Cocker other than English or American. American is different to the English in the size, shape of head and coat and also colours, but they are both very hairy breeds. English in particular have long silky featherings under their body and behind their legs, the long coat on the top is stripped out leaving a fairly short and silky undercoat. While the American is altogether much hairier carrying much more coat than the English. Both types have long floppy ears with long silky hair.
I wonder if it's actually a different type of Spaniel altogether that you are after, possibly a Welsh Springer?
Sorry can't be of any more help. But do let us know if you do find anything out.

I viewed a litter of cocker spaniel pups last year that were from working stock rather than show stock, their parents were field trial champions. I only saw the bitch and pups.not the dog. The mum had a longer body, shorter ears and had a more pointed nose than you would find in show stock.
