Hi all.

I have an 11 month old Boxer (Bitch). She is absolutly great eccept for one thing, when I take her for her walks at let her off for her runs she olny lasts about ten mins before she is totally knackered (10 mins non stop full out running). She would carry on running and play with her ball if I allowed her but I am scared incase she keels over. When I stop playing she comes and lies down by my feet gasping for air. It sometimes takes her 45 mins to get back to breathing normally. This same thing happens when I play in the garden with her and she has had a little exersise there.
What I would like to know is if this is normal or not? Should I consult the vets?

I think you should get the vet to give her a check up.

Just ask your vet to check her heart and maybe a blood test, hope all goes well .

I thought of heart as well, but perhaps also urine for diabetes?
