i would like some information on finding a stud for my basset hound in the yorkshire area

Start by asking your bitches breeder which lines would suit her best, then approach the owners of dogs caring these lines to see if you can visit to see the dogs and if you like make an arrangement to use one at stud. If you are really lucky the bitches breeder may make arrangements for you.

Durham (depends where you are in Yorkshire if it is too far, but you can expect to travel for a good stud dog) he is from Bassbar lines. Of course, the info. from the previous post is excellent, but if your breeder cant help, or your lines are compatible, I will be glad to give you the phone number for this boys owner.
